Program Note: See Nothing is for live string quintet and fixed media track with pre-recorded string pitches tuned to the frequencies of a single harmonic series, based on an imaginary C0 fundamental. The performers use the tape track as a live tuning device to allow for the accurate reproduction of pitches based on harmonic series overtones. The piece explores tension, timbre, and intonation through slow unfolding.
